About Infertility

Once you've made the decision to have a baby, it can feel like the hard part is over; but for many women, pregnancy doesn't happen right away. In the US, approximately 6.1 million women of childbearing age have had difficulty becoming or staying pregnant.

Infertility is the inability to get pregnant after a year of trying (or 6 months if a woman is 35 years of age or over). Inability to stay pregnant may also be a sign of infertility.
